Meet Our Expert Team

Dr. Kaushal Vakil was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate studies and went on to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS. Dr. Vakil also completed a general practice residency in 2000 at the Central Texas Veterans Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Vakil has been in private practice for over ten years. Dr. Vakil stays current with the evolving field of dentistry by attending hours of continuing education seminars throughout the year. Dr. Vakil is a member of the Southwest Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry, ADA, TDA, and Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Vakil and his wife, Priti, along with their two sons, enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling to destinations around the world. His hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, and golf.

Dr. Kevin L. Otten was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL, and raised in St. Louis, MO. He has lived in the Houston area for nearly 20 years. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of Dallas in 1993 and went on to earn his DDS from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Dr. Otten has published several research articles in the fields of medicine and dentistry. He devotes numerous hours on an annual basis to continuing education so he may provide patients with the most current treatment in the field of dentistry. Dr. Otten is a member of the ADA, TDA, and Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Otten enjoys coaching youth soccer and spending time with his wife, Lisa, their three children, and their adopted canines.
